Semis Preview :

The opening pair of matches see top seeds Gina Kennedy and Marwan ElShorbagy take on Torrie Malik and Sam Todd. Kennedy is aiming to reach a third Nationals final while it would be a first for ElShorbagy. Malik was last year’s runner-up while for Todd this is his first time past Round One.

The second women’s semi sees second and third seeds Jasmine Hutton and Lucy Turmel go head to head – neither are strangers to this stage of the tournament, and their overall head-to-head stands at six-apiece. Perry Malik and Simon Herbert finish the round, they overcame the second and third seeds yesterday and both are much deeper into the tournament than previously.
