Last year’s runner-up and England No.2 Georgina Kennedy has unfortunately withdrawn from the upcoming British National Championships starting tomorrow.
This means that Welsh No.2 Emily Whitlock has now become the No.1 seed for the event. Whitlock currently sits at No.21 in the PSA World Rankings and will be determined to add the prestigious event to her trophy haul.
England’s Lucy Turmel moves to No.2 seed and will play the winner of the only qualifying match between Amy Royle and Lowri Roberts.
English duo Katie Wells and Asia Harris both move into the main draw to play Katie Malliff and Lucy Beecroft respectively.
