The British National Squash Championships will return to St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club in Weybridge for the third consecutive year between 26-30 August, with the best of British squash talent battling for the prestigious men’s and women’s titles
Last year’s championships saw World No.4 and recent PSA Squash Tour Finals champion Joel Makin edge out 2x National Champion and former World No.1 Mohamed Elshorbagy in an 85-minute clash. Meanwhile, England No.1 Georgina Kennedy claimed her first Nationals title, beating Sarah-Jane Perry in four close games.
The defending champions are expected to return this year as they both aim to retain their trophies.
Players such as 2x Champion Jasmine Hutton, World No.5 Marwan ElShorbagy, Scotland No.1 Greg Lobban and former winner Tesni Murphy will also be looking to showcase their best squash in a bid to claim the coveted titles.
Tickets will go on general sale here on Wednesday 9 July.
The Championships will also be shown live on SQUASHTV.
