Nathan Lake

Nathan Lake withdraws from National Championships

England’s World No. 35 Nathan Lake has been forced to withdraw from the upcoming British National Championships in Manchester having not fully recovered from a back issue that he picked up at the Tournament of Champions last month.

World No.93 Tom Walsh moves into the main draw to play last year’s runner up Adrian Waller in round one.

Yorkshire’s Nick Wall now moves into a 5/8 seeding position and sets up a county clash with 19-year-old Sam Todd for a place in the quarter finals.

In the qualifying draw, Wales’ Emyr Evans now receives a bye in the first qualifying round and Lewis Doughty replaces Walsh to play Hasnaat Farooqi for a place in the qualifying finals.
