Murphy v Gear

Two-time champion Tesni Murphy meets Grace Gear in the first semi-final clash of the evening.
Murphy, who last reached the final in 2023 when she was runner-up to Jasmine Hutton, hasn’t dropped a game so far at this year’s event having defeated Isabel McCullough and Millie Tomlinson in straight games.
Gear has also notched two 3-0 victories on her way to reaching the semi finals – dispatching Emily Coulcher-Porter and Emily Whitlock in round one and the quarter finals, respectively.
Makin v Bryant

Joel Makin and Jonah Bryant go head-to-head in the first men’s semi-final match.
British No.1 Makin, who’s the reigning champion after beating Mohamed ElShorbagy in last year’s final, eased his way into the semi finals this year with two 3-0 triumphs against Ben Smith and Adrian Waller.
England rising star Bryant, who lost out to Makin at this year’s Grasshopper Cup, overcame Noah Meredith and Patrick Rooney in four games to book his spot in the last four.
Mead v Malik

Alicia Mead and Torrie Malik make their maiden appearance in the semi finals of the British Nationals when they clash tonight.
Mead, who has been a quarter finalist at best previously, hasn’t stepped on court so far at this year’s event due to both of her opponents withdrawing due to injury.
Meanwhile Malik, who had never progressed beyond round one of the British Nationals before, beat Asia Harris in round one before claiming a huge victory over No.2 seed Georgia Adderley in the quarter finals yesterday.
Malik v Wall

Curtis Malik and Nick Wall will also appear in the semi finals of the British Nationals for the first time when they meet for a place in the final.
Malik defeated Dylan Roberts 3-0 in round one before producing a terrific performance to beat Tom Walsh in the quarter finals yesterday.
Having seen off Samuel Osborne-Wylde in the opening round, Wall received a walkover yesterday due to Mohamed ElShorbagy withdrawing due to injury as the 25-year-old advanced to the semi finals for the first time.
